THE SOLAR SYSTEM WEB QUEST
During the group presentations
each group will be evaluated by the rest of the
class and the teacher. The teacher will also be
evalutating each individual within the groups on
their research and presentation. 1. You will be given a rubric to
use to grade the groups as they present the facts
on their planet. 2. The rubric will be explained
and modeled to you by your teacher. 3. You must be fair in grading
each group. Remember you want to be graded fairly
as well. 4. Before you begin grading your
classmates, remember to listen and learn about the
other planets. Have fun! After completing this
lesson you will have not only researched about your
one planet, but have learned about all nine
planets. Your will be experts on the size, distance
from the sun, order in the solar system,
temperature and chemical make-up of the planets.
You are now ready to travel into outer
space!
