Adventure’s of Super Dog and Super Cat

        It all started on December 29, 2009 when the cat and the dog got their powers from an asteroid that zapped them with a beam.  The cat, now Super Cat,  got ice eyes and a freeze touch.  The dog, now Super Dog, got fire eyes and fire touch.  When they got used to their powers they saw Evil Cheetah throwing trees at bears. So Super Dog said, “Let’s go!”   Super Cat said, “ Sure!”  So Super Dog used his fire eyes on Evil Cheetah.  Evil Cheetah said, “Ouch!  That hurts!”  Then Evil Cheetah used his ice ball on Super Dog.  Super Dog dodged the ice ball. He said, “Why can’t we be friends?”  Evil Cheetah said, “ No way!  You are good and I am bad!  We don’t mix.”  Super Dog said, “We still can be friends.”   Evil Cheetah said, “ I guess.”  Super Dog said, “Ok! ” And now Evil Cheetah is no longer evil!

 

 

         The Empire State Building

        The Empire State Building is located on 350 Fifth Avenue in New York City. The total height of the Empire State Building including the lightning rod is 1,454 feet.  It took 1 year and 45 days to build including the property on which the building sits.  The total cost of the Empire State Building was $40,948,900.  It took 7,000,000 man hours to build.  There are 6,500 windows on it.  There were as many as 3,400 workers that worked on the Empire State Building.  It took 57,000 tons of steel to construct the steel skeleton. There are 1,860 steps from street level to the 102nd floor. The builders of the Empire State Building were Starrett Bros. & Eken.  I wish I could visit it some day.
