WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF MATH

 

Mathematics is much more than the science of numbers or of space configurations; with their operations, interrelations, combinations, abstractions, structure, measurement, transformations and generalizations.

 

Mathematics is fundamental to everything we do in life.  Some say mathematics is a language.  As with any language, we begin by learning “basic skills”.  We build on these skills through study, reading, practice, demonstrations, and applications.   As we become proficient in this language,  we grow a new abstract organ of perception through which we view the world and can perceive realities previously inconceivable.
